FIRST, A CONVERSATION
See if we’re a good fit.
We’ll talk through the problem, what you’ve tried and what a useful first step could look like. No payment or commitment to a project.
A practical problem. A creative idea.
I’m Russell. I build websites, automation workflows and practical tools—with the people who know the problem best.
A thoughtful first version. Something you can try, learn from and keep.
Let’s talk about it A free 30-minute conversation. Start there.A focused website or interactive experience, shaped around the person using it.
Illustrative idea · your project starts with a conversation01 / HOW WE WORK
You shouldn’t need a sprawling contract to find out whether an idea is worth building.
FIRST, A CONVERSATION
We’ll talk through the problem, what you’ve tried and what a useful first step could look like. No payment or commitment to a project.
A FOCUSED STARTER
We agree one practical objective and work toward a prototype, proof of concept or first working version. The scope fits the time; a finished production system isn’t promised in ten hours.
You keep what we build, with a handoff that explains what works, what we learned and what comes next.
THEN, TAKE STOCK
At ten hours, we review the work together. Stop there, or agree to expand to 50 hours total. Your first ten count, leaving 40 additional hours. Nothing extends automatically.
02 / GROUNDED IN REAL WORK
Client services is the foundation of my work: listening, finding the friction and helping people use what we create. The offer is broader than support teams. A good fit is a practical problem we can make progress on together.
I use AI as part of the building process, alongside domain knowledge, testing and feedback.
I’ve built document-workflow automation with human review, so judgment stays with the people who understand the documents.
I’ve built a .NET desktop tool around recurring support tasks, refining the interface with colleagues who used it in their daily work.
03 / A LITTLE ROOM TO BUILD
Tell me about it. We’ll arrange a free 30-minute fit conversation before deciding on a project.
Calls, preparation and follow-up count toward my weekly workload too. We’ll agree the scope, use of hours, start date and handoff before work begins.
